Billy Currington has canceled a series of summer concerts because of a
case of severe laryngitis, according to his publicist. Doctors have
placed him on voice rest until the end of July. Currington was unable to
attend a No. 1 party for "Good Directions" in Nashville on Wednesday
(June 27). Currington recently released a new single, "Tangled Up," and
a new album is expected by the end of the year.
